Terms of Use
Effective August 1, 2026
These Terms explain the rules for using Prism Global Prep’s website, SAT and ACT preparation tools, practice content, AI-assisted explanations, and tutoring services.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Our educational services
Prism Global Prep provides independent educational preparation for the SAT and ACT, including diagnostic assessments, practice tests, question banks, performance analytics, AI-assisted explanations, study recommendations, and optional tutoring. Features and content may change as the exams and our services evolve.
Practice scores and recommendations are estimates for learning purposes. We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, a particular official test score, or any other academic outcome.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, keep your password confidential, and promptly notify us at contact@prismglobalprep.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Accounts are for one student and may not be shared, sold, transferred, or used concurrently by multiple people.
4. Limited license and acceptable use
While your account is active, Prism grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the services for your own SAT or ACT preparation. You may not copy, scrape, download in bulk, publish, sell, reverse engineer, automate access to, or create competing materials from Prism content. You may not interfere with security controls, misuse promotional codes, submit malicious content, or use another student’s account.
5. AI-assisted explanations
AI-assisted explanations are educational aids designed to help you reason through practice questions. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and should be checked against the question explanation, trusted educational sources, or a qualified tutor. Do not enter sensitive personal information into an AI prompt. Prism may limit or refuse prompts that are unrelated to SAT or ACT preparation, unsafe, abusive, or intended to compromise the service.
6. Plans, payments, promotions, and access
Prices, included features, and access periods are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; Prism does not receive or store your complete card number. Taxes and available payment methods may be determined at checkout.
Promotional codes may be limited by date, number of redemptions, product, student, or other stated conditions. Codes have no cash value and may be cancelled for fraud or misuse. Refund and cancellation rights, if any, are the rights stated at checkout or required by applicable law. Contact us before purchasing if you have questions about a plan.
7. Tutoring
Tutoring availability, instructor assignment, scheduling, rescheduling, and fees are confirmed separately. Tutors provide educational guidance but cannot promise a particular score or outcome. Students and guardians must communicate respectfully and follow any session rules provided at booking.
8. Ownership and exam trademarks
Prism’s original questions, explanations, software, designs, logos, and other materials are owned by Prism Global Prep or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. SAT® is a registered trademark of the College Board, and ACT® is a registered trademark of ACT, Inc. Prism Global Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board or ACT, Inc.
9. Availability and account action
We work to keep the services available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect students, enforce these Terms, respond to legal requirements, maintain the service, or investigate fraud or security concerns.
10. Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Prism disclaims implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed. To the extent permitted by law, Prism will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the website, account, or email when appropriate. Questions may be sent to contact@prismglobalprep.com.
